The NBA’s Atlanta Hawks will be able to find out more about fans attending their games after expanding their relationship with tech leader KORE.
The company has provided ticketing services to the State Farm Arena-based basketball team for the last six years as well as CRM and sponsorship capabilities.
The addition of KORE’s Data Warehouse & Analytics service will enable the Hawks to better harness, analyse and integrate data collected from fans and event-goers.
“KORE has been an exceptional partner for us,” said Dave Elgin, the Hawks’ vice president of analytics. “With the fan’s experience being a top priority, we felt compelled to ramp up our data systems and capabilities and expand our data footprint.”
Atlanta Hawks had an average attendance of 14,409 per game at their 18,000-capacity venue – formerly the Philips Arena – during the 2017-18 season.
KORE builds sports management software and offers products covering sponsorships, suites, ticketing, and fan engagement to more than 100 professional sports clubs and leagues. Partners include major US sports franchise owner Kroenke Sports & Entertainment (KSE), which runs the Denver Nuggets NBA team, NHL’s Colorado Avalanche and Colorado Rapids of the MLS.
