Notts County to activate Ticketmaster Sport

Notts County FC has signed Ticketmaster Sport as its official ticketing partner for the 2018-19 season and beyond.

The League Two football club announced that supporters would now be able to activate their online Ticketmaster accounts, with a go-live date of November 21.

Notts County owner and chairman Alan Hardy said: “Ticketmaster’s system will take us to the next level and we’re really looking forward to working with them. This is a significant investment in the club’s infrastructure – but one we are sure will be worth it as our supporters – and, most importantly, season ticket holders – will enjoy a vastly improved experience.”

To prepare for the launch, staff will be shutting down the current system after Saturday’s match against Cheltenham Town. Fans who have an existing purchase history will have their details automatically transferred to the new online system.

Adam Newsam, managing director of Ticketmaster Sport, added: “It’s a real privilege to be selected as ticketing partner of a club with such a long history and enduring legacy in the world of football. We will build upon that legacy and look forward to working with the club to provide a top-class service for Magpies fans to make sure it’s easier for them to buy tickets to see their team.”
