Connect&GO launches GOtix smart ticketing

Canadian technology company Connect&GO has launched GOtix, a smart ticketing system that will be targeted at the leisure and entertainment industries.

GOtix has been described as a customisable ticketing platform that offers season passes, memberships and group ticket sales.

An integrated “operational intelligence module” developed by Connect&GO allows ticket-sellers to create packages according to a buyer’s profile, as well as the profiles of similar buyers.

GOtix also includes a self-serve silicone wristband dispenser – a patent-pending machine that can be used to distribute cards and paper wristbands.

Connect&GO’s CEO, Anthony Palermo, described GOtix as “a fully integrated solution that encompasses the entire guest experience”.

Connect&Go’s RFID wristbands are already deployed as a method of payment at events such as the NFL American football Super Bowl, various festivals and within the 2018 Winter Olympic Games’ Village in Pyeongchang, South Korea.

The company also has permanent installations at locations such as Owl’s Head Ski Resort in Quebec, while Connect&Go’s Parkpass system will be launched at Hyde Park Winter Wonderland in London later this month.

Co-founder and partner Dominic Gagnon said: “The key advantage of using our solution is that it is fully integrated with our RFID wristband platform which includes access control, cashless payments and experiential.

“By adding smart ticketing, we are offering a simple way for the guest to purchase a ticket, add funds directly onto their wristband and take advantage of many other features.”
