StubHub scores highly in Newsweek customer service report

StubHub has been rated as one of the leading companies in the United States for customer service, according to a poll conducted by Newsweek.

StubHub ranks first in ticketing among the best US companies for customer service in the magazine’s inaugural 2019 list.

The rankings have been based on nearly 133,000 customer survey question responses from more than 20,000 US customers who have either made purchases, used services or gathered information about products or services over the past three years.

The surveys included questions on whether customers would recommend brands to friends or families, as well as quality of communications, technical competence, range of services, customer focus and accessibility.

Bricks-and-mortar retailers were studied, along with online retailers and service providers, with a total of 141 categories having been covered.

Daron Fowlks, senior director of global customer experience at StubHub, said: “This award is testament to the knowledge, training, professionalism and deep desire to put the fan first in all we do.

“We challenge our employees every day to go ‘plus two,’ meaning two steps beyond what’s asked of them to ensure our customers have a good experience. Most importantly, I want to express our gratitude to the millions of fans who allow us to be a part of their live events experience and keep coming back to StubHub.”

StubHub was ranked ahead of Ticketmaster and FinallyItsYours.com in the ticketing services category.

StubHub was founded in 2000 and acquired by eBay in 2007. It currently spans 48 countries, with its platform allowing fans to buy and sell tickets to tens of thousands of events.
