Golden Knights offer ticket deals to die hard for

Vegas Golden Knights are offering fans blockbuster ticket deals over the festive season after announcing special packs named after characters from iconic Hollywood movie Die Hard.

The Vegas Golden Knights Holiday Packs are on sale now as part of an exclusive presale for the NHL hockey team’s VGK Can’t Wait List members. 1989 smash Die Hard starred Bruce Willis as John McClane and the late Alan Rickman as villain Hans Gruber.

The ‘John McClane Pack’ features T-Mobile Arena games against the San Jose Sharks, Arizona Coyotes and Winnipeg Jets. The ‘Hans Gruber Pack’ has matchups with the Los Angeles Kings, Dallas Stars and Calgary Flames. Both packs start at $225 and include one ticket to each of the three respective games as well as one Cirque du Soleil ticket.

The Knights said if the packs are still available following the exclusive presale for Can’t Wait List members, they will be made available to the general public at a later date.

“Some people think Die Hard isn’t a Christmas movie, some people do,” said Vegas Golden Knights vice president of ticketing and suites Todd Pollock.

“Ultimately our fans can weigh in on that debate but we are pleased to reward our Can’t Wait List members with two great packages that feature three exciting Vegas Golden Knights games as well as a ticket to Cirque du Soleil. Yippee Ki Yay.”

The Knights, founded in 2016, play at the 17,500-capacity, $375m T-Mobile Arena.
