SeatGeek goes live with Leicester Tigers

SeatGeek has gone live with Premiership rugby union club Leicester Tigers in a move designed to boost the fan experience.

Under the agreement, the Tigers have rolled out a mobile responsive online ticket buying experience and have already begun delivering navigation across LeicesterTigers.com.

SeatGeek will improve the fan experience when buying online, in store and via the ticket office for match tickets, events, hospitality and much more at Welford Road. The firm has also delivered a range of automated processes across the club’s back office operation at the 25,849-capacity stadium.

Phil Everitt, MIS & projects manager at Leicester Tigers, said: “We’re hugely excited to see the new system up and running and have been working hard department-wide at Welford Road to ensure the platform offers the best experience for supporters.”

Fans will also have access to an updated information webpage which includes FAQs, tickets on sale dates, matchday parking as well as account information, ticket forwarding and buy back schemes and disabled supporter information.

SeatGeek’s UK Sport managing director, Peter Joyce, said: “I am absolutely delighted to welcome Leicester Tigers on board as a SeatGeek client. The club has a rich history and is renowned as one of the leading clubs in English rugby with a loyal supporter base.

“We look forward to continuing our work with the club’s management team to deliver a first-class ticketing experience for fans, as well as to deliver our leading-edge technology across all aspects of the club’s ticketing operations during the 2018-19 season and beyond.”
