Qcue, a dynamic and time-based pricing solution for live entertainment organisations, has appointed Derek Palmer as its new chief operating officer. 
Palmer is also on the board of directors for the International Ticketing Association (INTIX).
Qcue’s software enables live entertainment organisations to gather information and adjust ticket prices relative to demand.
The Austin-based company was the first to introduce dynamic pricing to sports, working with the San Francisco Giants of Major League Baseball, who selected the firm to implement a pilot program across 2,000 seats in the View Reserved and Bleachers.
Palmer previously held the position of managing director and EVP of international at Tickets.com.
