Motorsport Live drives fans to the action

Motorsport Network has unveiled its new comprehensive ticketing and travel operation, Motorsport Live.

The platform will provide fans with a fully dedicated service from race ticketing to travel, hospitality, grandstands, fan villages and accommodation.

Motorsport Live will initially trade in five languages, including English, German, French, Dutch and Spanish, to provide native language services to fans in 30 markets. It will reportedly expand its availability to ten languages throughout 2019.

James Allen, president, Motorsport Network, said: “Motorsport Live has been conceived expressly with the fan front and centre to offer a unique value proposition. First of all we have taken the headache away from planning a trip to the races.

“And secondly, our villages provide a genuine festival experience at trackside, with an amazing atmosphere among kindred racing enthusiasts. To this we add a unique ingredient of bringing the paddock to the fans, with the first-hand insight provided by team personnel and competitor appearances.”

The operation integrates tickets and packages from Formula 1, MotoGP motorcycle racing and FIA World Endurance Championship races.

Motorsport Live will list tickets from BookF1, which is the biggest digital ticketing operator in the UK for Formula 1, the World Endurance Championship (BookWEC.com) and MotoGP (BookMoto.com), as well as from the Dutch ticketing and experiences platform SportStadion.

According to Motorsport.com, last season, more than 150,000 travel transactions were made by BookF1 and SportStadion. They accounted for close to 40 per cent of all tickets sold for the Belgian Grand Prix and helped to welcome 18,500 fans in a single fan village in Austria.
