The Deltic Group, the UK’s largest operator of late-night bars and nightclubs, has linked up with mobile ticketing provider Corethree to develop mobile apps aiding smart ticketing.
Under the agreement, Corethree will create apps for each of the group’s individual brands to “drive loyalty, increase sales and venue efficiencies”.
Corethree said it would also improve ID control through ‘smart’ tickets. The new apps will allow for remote ticket purchasing and will streamline entrance to Deltic’s venues and ID confirmation. It will also provide an additional user engagement channel to provide data insights that can be used to push marketing initiatives.
Tim Howard, marketing director, The Deltic Group, said, according to The Spirits Business: “Mobile marketing is a valuable channel for connecting to our customers in a direct yet more personalised way.
“We needed to partner with a mobile technology provider that would not only deliver bespoke apps for every brand, but more importantly provide a powerful back-end infrastructure to help us deliver the best customer engagement across our brand portfolio.
“Our new Corethree-developed apps will be underpinned by established technology capable of tying each customer and their preferences back to our individual brands and their venues, helping Deltic to become a more granular data-driven business.”
Deltic owns 55 clubs and bars across the UK, with brands such as Pryzm nightclubs, food and clubbing chain Bar & Beyond, and multi-dance room Atik clubs.
