QPR boosts ticketing experience with InCrowd

Queens Park Rangers (QPR) has boosted its fan experience after integrating with engagement company InCrowd’s Ticket Wallet.

In partnership with Ticketmaster Sport, the integrated technology will allow fans to purchase and transfer tickets across operating systems.

It also gives the Championship club the ability to identify previously anonymous fans.

David Scriven, digital content manager at QPR, said: “The QPR Ticket Wallet has helped simplify the match day for fans at Loftus Road. Not only can fans now access the latest news at the push of a button they can also access the stadium with one.

“By working closely with Ticketmaster and implementing this advanced, fan-first technology from InCrowd we’ve been able to deliver a unique product in an efficient manner with significant upsides to supporter experience and the businesses digital objectives.”

Individuals that purchase multiple QPR match tickets can ‘share’ tickets with other supporters via the mobile app. To activate their tickets, recipients are asked to register their details in the app.

Tickets can also be transferred between mobile devices and different operating systems.

The QPR ticket wallet also features a range of anti-tout mechanisms, including hidden barcodes, device locking, screenshot prevention and several other features.

The app also provides fans with a set of team and venue-specific features, as well as exclusive content.
