French ticketing company Weezevent has further expanded its reach after launching in Switzerland.
Weezevent Switzerland Sarl, which is registered with the Swiss Trade Registry in Lausanne, “was naturally done by the increasing presence of users from the French-speaking part of the platform.”
Laurent Klunge, country manager Switzerland, will be responsible for developing global solutions with local support.
“From the opening of the Swiss office, we wanted to be closer to our existing customers, but above all to be able to offer a service adapted to the needs of event organisers in Switzerland,” said Klunge.
“The creation of the Swiss company is naturally a big step in this direction and the fact that our ticketing is now approved for the events in Lausanne is another.”
Weezevent is an NFC-based cashless payments and ticketing provider, which continues to drive its international expansion and is currently based in Spain, France, Switzerland, the UK and Canada.
Earlier this month, Weezevent appointed Oliver Goddard as head of the company’s London office.
