Liseberg amusement park has appointed Swedish ticketing operator Tickster as its integrated ticket and table booking system.
The three-year agreement will see Tickster deliver its own developed systems for ticket sales and table management to be applied for all Liseberg arenas, including the Liseberg Theater and the Liseberg Rondo arena.
Liseberg said it hopes to maximise flexibility and accessibility for guests when buying event tickets with associated food and drink via Tickster.
Malin Lundström, head of private and corporate sales at Liseberg, said: “In line with our ambition to build experiences and at the same time simplify for our guests, it is of the utmost importance to have a partner who can provide a simple, flexible and intuitive one purchase flow to achieve full stands and satisfy hungry dinner guests.”
Liseberg is an amusement park located in Gothenburg, Sweden, that opened in 1923. It is one of the most visited amusement parks in Scandinavia, attracting more than three million visitors annually.
Jason King, chief executive of Tickster AB, added: “Liseberg is one of the leading theme parks in Europe and offers entertainment, attractions and restaurants of the highest class. We are of course super-proud that Liseberg has chosen our system to ensure that their guests get exactly the experience they want at Liseberg’s fantastic events.”
