Swiss ticketing platform Eventfrog has become one of seven start-ups to receive the Swiss Agency for Innovation Promotion, or Innosuisse.
The award champions firms on innovative projects with sustainable growth potential, and Eventfrog’s “do-it-yourself approach” is said to have impressed.
The ticketing company already boasts the largest event calendar in Switzerland, enables a high degree of automation and has various marketing opportunities available to organisers.
The event platform allows organisers to record their events, sell tickets online for free, market the events regionally and nationally in a variety of media, and generate more sales at the event with incentives to buy.
Those with low budgets also have the opportunity to promote their events in the media online and offline. With this, smaller and medium-sized events can significantly increase their reach and sell more tickets.
With over 20,000 active events, the Eventfrog website has more than 200,000 unique visitors per month in addition to its app traffic.
Eventfrog, formerly Ticketfrog before its rebrand in May last year, was also presented with the Disruptor Award at TheTicketingBusiness Forum Awards 2018.
