Double the Heat with renewal and a free holiday

The Miami Heat has offered its season ticket holders the unusual perk of free holiday accommodation if they renew by February 21.

The NBA basketball franchise is giving its most loyal fans two choices if they decide to renew.

The first is complimentary accommodation in Cancun, Mexico for five days and four nights, or four days and three night in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. The Cancun option was also offered by the franchise in last season’s renewal campaign.

The Heat’s corporate partner, Holidays Network Group, operates the two vacation resorts.

While the accommodation will be free, season ticket holders must provide their own transportation.

The Heat has the seventh longest sellout streak in NBA history, though it does not disclose its season ticket numbers.

The team has completely sold out the AmericanAirlines Arena for 405 consecutive regular-season and playoff games, dating back to 2010.
