British Athletics appoints The Ticket Factory

The Ticket Factory has been named as the official ticketing supplier for British Athletics for the next three years.

Under the agreement, the UK ticket agent has been appointed on a three-year multi-event deal working across British Athletics’ TV Event series.

Director of ticketing for The Ticket Factory, Richard Howle, said: “The Ticket Factory prides itself on delivering excellence to its clients and customers and is looking forward to helping British Athletics connect with more fans to create unforgettable memories at some of the most prestigious sporting events.

“As part of that commitment, we will be supporting British Athletics to provide customers with access requirements even better access to athletics by making it easy to book tickets online that are relevant to their needs. Any customer with an Access Card, which independently and confidentially verifies fans access requirements can link their card to their Ticket Factory account, offering discretion and peace of mind that their requirements will be catered for.”

The first event that The Ticket Factory will service will be the Müller Anniversary Games on July 20 and 21, held at the London Stadium, with tickets due to go on sale later this month.

UK Athletics’ major events director, Cherry Alexander, added: “During a detailed tender process, The Ticket Factory clearly demonstrated their commitment to delivering excellent service to our fans, something which is at the core of our major events strategy. Fans will also benefit from paying no admin or transaction fees through this new partnership.

“As well as providing ticketing services, The Ticket Factory will also join the British Athletics’ sponsor family and will be directly engaging with fans at events, with the first event under the new partnership being our showpiece event in the Müller Anniversary Games.”
