Event management firm Conferize has launched a ticketing platform in a move designed to help increase earnings.

The launch of Conferize Tickets has opened the firm up to a wider range of events, allowing all users to sell tickets without prior experience.

The feature enables quick check-in to events via a QR code on the participants’ smartphones.

Conferize’s ticket product can be used for both courses and seminars, as well as concerts and sports events.

The event management company said it expects that the new product will eventually become a “strong competitor to existing ticket sales solutions,” due to its “simple price structure.”

The firm has been used by thousands of events in more than 140 countries and has been official partner for TEDx since 2014.
