Vendini launches View From a Seat feature

Event management firm Vendini has unveiled its new View From a Seat feature that allows users to see a full view of their perspective seat before making purchases.

Venue owners can integrate the feature by first selecting one or more seats to be enhanced, then uploading a photo taken from the seat, and saving.

“This new feature allows patrons to understand their experience at the event and choose their seats with confidence,” said Pancrazio Auteri, chief product officer, Vendini. “Our sales conversion data shows that giving patrons a real view from the seats boosts ticket revenues and the average order value.”

View From a Seat also allows venue owners to expand purchase options with pricing based on premium views.

Jim Kristian, director of patron services at Edmonds Center for the Arts, said: “The View From A Seat feature is both a valuable customer service tool and a valuable sales tool.

“Buying becomes a lot easier for our customers because we can reassure them that they’ve selected the right seats.”

Vendini recently announced it has notched $3bn (£2.3bn/€2.6bn) in gross ticket sales over the past five years, gaining more than 1,000 new members.

The new customers in performing arts, live music and comedy, festivals, tours, and universities include Chicago International Film Festival, Comix Mohegan Sun and Stambaugh Auditorium.
