Ticketing services and live entertainment provider Eventim has outlined its UK plans for its Inhouse ticketing system after going live with its first partner in the market.
Hull Box Office will manage its entire ticketing operation through the platform, which seeks to give venues and ticketing providers a customisable, flexible and powerful ticketing system.
Inhouse is a self-service, hosted ticketing, membership and CRM platform that gives full control to venues. It offers a white-label webshop, a user-friendly interface, reservation management, event waiting lists, invites, gift vouchers, upsells, season ticketing and memberships, and more.
Inhouse is already used by a range of theatre, opera, music and sports venues across Europe, but is new to the UK.
“Eventim Inhouse has great potential in the UK,” Eventim UK chief operating officer Dale Ballentine told TheTicketingBusiness News.
“Arts venues, theatre, museums, sports clubs and music venues across the country can benefit from the years of development behind the system in hundreds of similar venues across Europe. Inhouse was built around the needs of some of the most high profile venues in Europe.
“At Eventim UK, we plan to offer something different, not only offering one of the most robust, flexible systems in the market, but supporting venues with marketing, customer service, telephone sales and fulfilment.
“After the smooth and successful launch with Hull Box Office, we are in advanced talks with other partners to launch inhouse in their venues and our plan in 2019 is to shake up the ticketing systems business with our unique offering.”
Hull Box Office is a dedicated place to buy and sell tickets for arts and entertainment events in the East Yorkshire city, which was UK City of Culture in 2017.
