Manchester United freezes season ticket prices again

Manchester United has revealed it will freeze season ticket prices at Old Trafford for the eighth consecutive season.

The Premier League club’s 2018-19 prices ranged from £532 (€618/$701) to £950, which will remain in place for the 2019-20 campaign.

United has more than 53,000 season ticket holders, with another 100,000 people on the waiting list to get regular seats at the 74,994-capacity stadium.

“The support from our fans and the atmosphere they generate is incredible, so we’re delighted to be freezing season ticket prices once again in recognition of that,” Manchester United Group’s managing director Richard Arnold said.

In addition, the club said it would introduce a dedicated ‘Atmosphere Section’ in the Stretford End in a bid boost the fan experience.

Last season, United also introduced a new youth pricing structure, which allowed fans between the age 18 and 25 to get discounted tickets.
