Event management firm Conferize has announced its official launch in the US, in addition to releasing details on the approval of more than $11m (£8.3m/€9.7m) in funding.
The Denmark-based firm offers a complete event solution including website (including custom domain), tickets, schedule, emails, people management, and attendee involvement.
The funding was confirmed during the company’s annual general meeting that was held yesterday (Tuesday) in Copenhagen.
Conferize has also announced a new fully customisable Themes feature that will be added to the service. After creating tickets, the organiser can select a prefabricated design and customise everything using the Website Builder. The website can run under any custom domain or subdomain.
Conferize said of the Themes feature in a release: “It’s a highly flexible and customisable events-specific CMS system, that caters to both small and medium one-off events, as well as large conferences, or enterprises with many events.
“Our Ticket solution serves both consumer events (pdf-style tickets) and professional events (where attendees get their own profile for networking). For large events, a QR-code can be scanned on attendee tickets to check in many attendees fast.”
