The Seattle Mariners is set to introduce mobile ticketing and trial a cashless model at T-Mobile Park.
The initiatives have been introduced to coincide with the start of the 2019 Major League Baseball season and are designed to enhance the fan experience.
From this season, ticket buyers will no longer have the option of receiving tickets as print-at-home PDFs. Fans will instead enter T-Mobile Park with tickets on their mobile devices through the MLB Ballpark app.
Over half of all MLB teams have either already transitioned to mobile tickets or are doing so this season.
