Ticketing, event management and audience engagement platform SquadUP has acquired My Event Nation, a Washington D.C.-based ticketing and event registration platform.
SquadUP will provide technical and operational support to the My Event Nation team, while continuing to service existing customers.

We’re thrilled to welcome their customers to the SquadUP platform and to have members of their sales organisation join our growing team.”
Asad Ali, co-founder of My Event Nation, said: “Our team has always had an amazing passion and dedication to providing a world class ticketing experience for live events and we saw that same passion and energy with the SquadUP team.”
Ali, who is joining the SquadUP team, added: “SquadUP’s seamless, white-labeled ticketing platform provides our existing and loyal customer base an even more robust and dynamic set of features to better enhance the overall event experience and provide the necessary tools for our organisers.”
SquadUp is projecting $100m in gross ticket sales this year and signed partnerships with the likes of the Tribeca Film Festival and League of Legends.
