SecuTix partners up with Swiss Super League champion

Swiss Super League champion BSC Young Boys has agreed a partnership with SecuTix that will lead to the introduction of a new ticketing system from the second half of the 2019-20 football season.

The Bern-based club, which currently sits top of the 2018-19 Super League table, will introduce the Lausanne-based company’s SecuTix 360° product. The cloud-based platform combines ticketing with CRM functions and integrates it into the club’s website as a white label solution.

From January 2020, Young Boys fans will be able to choose their seats when purchasing tickets using a 3D model of the club’s 32,000-capacity Stade de Suisse. Season-ticket holders will also be granted the option to digitally pass on their ticket for individual games to friends if they can’t make the match.

Wanja Greuel, CEO of BSC Young Boys, said: “The move to SecuTix is the next step in our digitisation strategy. SecuTix as a partner also prepares us for technologies such as blockchain, which will be increasingly used in ticketing over the next few years.”
