Lausanne, Paris, London, Madrid, Munich, Montreal – 25 April 2019 SecuTix, the cloud-based ticketing and audience engagement platform, has entered into a new partnership with Stay22, a venue-centric accommodation map to help businesses provide their attendees with a great experience when looking for a place to stay near their event.
The Stay22 system is the only solution that enables event travellers to choose from hotels or Airbnbs in the vicinity of where an event is taking place, and at any stage of their purchase journey. Accommodation is presented in a map, showing how far it is from the venue. Ticket-holders can then simply click on the map and be taken into the Airbnb or hotel booking system to finalise their reservation. Stay22 has an exclusive partnership with Airbnb to map out accommodation in the surrounding area of an event.
This new partnership gives SecuTix’s clients the ability to manage their accommodation requirements within the ticketing system. It also offers them the chance to increase revenues through commission-sharing for bookings driven via the map. Booking conversion rates through the map are nearly three times as high as the travel industry’s average.
Theater Basel in Switzerland and England Netball are the first SecuTix clients to benefit from the new partnership. All SecuTix clients now have access to switch on the service, which can be simply toggled on from their own SecuTix dashboard.
