Motherwell FC has launched a ticketing initiative that offers adult or over-60s season ticket-holders free child passes for the 2019-20 season.
The Scottish Premiership football club will provide two free kids tickets if the adults choose to sit in the Cooper Stand.
For any additional children’s season tickets it will cost an extra £20 (€23/$26) per child, and they’ll receive their own card with their name on it.
Motherwell claims that over a third of its season tickets holders at 13,700-capacity Fir Park last season were from the under-15 age bracket.
The club said in a statement: “If you’re already sharing Motherwell with the young ones in your family, thank you. If you aren’t yet, what if this is the year you can get them here and get them to catch the bug?”
The Cooper Suite at Fir Park opens to children before every game from 11am with food, drinks, face painting, activities, visits from players and the mascot Steelman.
Motherwell is urging fans to renew or purchase their season tickets before May 31, its Early Bird pricing cut off.
