TickPick has announced new partnerships with two major festivals in the US.
The no-fee secondary ticketing marketplace has signed up with country music-oriented WE Fest in Minnesota and Riot Fest in Chicago. The former, which will take place in August, is headlined by Keith Urban and LeAnn Rimes, with Blink-182 and Slayer appearing at the latter.
TickPick, which was founded in New York City in 2011, is also partnered with the Firefly Music Festival in Delaware and a number of sports organisations in North America, including the Big South Conference.
“Following last year’s success at Firefly Music Festival, we saw a significant opportunity to expand our presence in the festival space and bring transparency and no fees to other notable festivals,” said TickPick co-founder and co-chief executive Brett Goldberg.
“In addition to WE Fest, we’re also partnering this year with Chicago’s Riot Fest as its official secondary marketplace. TickPick is the go-to marketplace for ‘Smart Fans’.
“We know they will relish the opportunity to utilise our site to buy tickets to these two events — and for all their other concert and sporting event needs.”
