Liverpool secures increased Super Cup allocation

Liverpool has secured an increased ticket allocation for its UEFA Super Cup clash against Chelsea in Istanbul after talks with European football’s governing body.

The UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League winners were originally allocated just over 5,000 tickets each for the game at the 38,000-capacity Vodafone Park.

The extra tickets, which went on sale today (Friday), are available online on a first-come, first-served basis. Supporters can purchase one ticket per person up to a maximum of four tickets per transaction.

Liverpool said: “Due to the increased allocation, a further sale will take place for those supporters who entered the ballot for the 2019 Champions League final but were unsuccessful.

“The number of qualifying supporters will far exceed the number of tickets available during this sale and therefore no guarantee can be given that tickets will be available to all who apply.”

Ticket prices for the August 14 game range from €50 to €150.
