SeatGeek SRO boosts data insights through Activity Stream

SeatGeek SRO clients can now gain further data insights thanks to the operator’s new partnership with Activity Stream.

The partnership will enable SeatGeek clients using the SRO platform to be set up with the Activity Stream service in a matter of weeks, following the completion of the integration. Activity Stream creates business tools to help live entertainment and sports events organisers to gain valuable insights and tools from connected data.

As part of their integration, the two companies will initially work to map out the data structures and the business interpretation of data flows. Following that the Activity Stream team will set up data ingestion and transformation scripts and structures.

Cork Opera House will serve as a pilot for the partnership.

“At SeatGeek we want to empower our clients to use technology to make the smartest business decisions,” said James McClure, SeatGeek’s international general manager. “Ticketing is a crucial aspect of every arts and sports organisation that we work with, and we want our clients to be able to seamlessly bring together tools and services, all to improve customer experience, sales, and marketing.”

Activity Stream, which has offices in Iceland, Denmark and Serbia, already works with Ticketmaster, AXS and a host of other live events organisations.

“We are very excited to add SRO to our list of integrated partners,” said Martin Gammetloft of Activity Stream.

“With SeatGeek’s long list of prominent clients we feel that this is a great match for our services. We look forward to empowering SeatGeek’s clients.”
