Free tickets for fans named ‘Morgan’ to MLS All-Star game

Major League Soccer (MLS) is offering free tickets for its 2019 All-Star game in Florida to any adults named ‘Morgan.’

The move is part of the league’s new partnership with Captain Morgan’s spiced rum, which signed a deal earlier this month that will run through to 2022.

The brand is also an official sponsor of the game between MLS All-Stars and Atlético Madrid, which is scheduled to kick off later today (Wednesday) at Exploria Stadium in Orlando, Florida.

Prior to the game, any over-21’s with the first, middle or last name of Morgan have been urged to head over to the Captain Morgan section of the stadium where 10 free tickets will be dished out.

Jennifer Cramer, senior vice president of partnership marketing at MLS, said: “Right from the start of our partnership, Captain Morgan has demonstrated their belief in Major League Soccer and their commitment to creating fun and unique activations for our fans.

“We are really excited to collaborate with them on this one-of-a-kind program that will enhance the fan experience at our All-Star Game.”
