Ticketek extends long-standing partnership with Melbourne & Olympic Parks

TEG-owned ticketing firm Ticketek has extended its partnership with sporting and entertainment events precinct Melbourne & Olympic Parks.

The five-year extension deal will expand on a long-standing relationship that spans more than two decades.

Melbourne & Olympic Parks is home to the Australian Open tennis championships and an array of sporting and entertainment experiences across its venues of Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne Arena, Margaret Court Arena and AAMI Park.

Each year the precinct welcomes millions of visitors and hosts more than 600 events, with Katy Perry, Beyoncé and The Rolling Stones having performed there.

TEG chief executive Geoff Jones said: “Melbourne & Olympic Parks is the beating heart of Australian sports and entertainment. We are delighted and honoured to have extended our long-standing partnership.”

Patrons will continue to have access to TEG’s ticketing technology and services, when accessing tickets for events at Melbourne & Olympic Parks, outside of the Australian Open.

Guests will benefit from Ticketek’s technology and customer service, while the multi-channel event ticketing and digital marketing company also looks to deliver innovative digital solutions for the venues.

Melbourne & Olympic Parks chief executive John Harnden added: “We are looking forward to continuing our partnership with Ticketek to deliver exceptional experiences to our millions of guests across a diverse array of sports and entertainment events.”

TEG chief operating officer and head of ticketing Cameron Hoy said: “Ticketek and TEG’s market leading approach in ticketing technology, fan engagement, digital marketing and consumer insights are all key contributors to our continued partnership, which we are thrilled to have extended.”
