Ticketing agency Coras, which is the official event-ticketing partner of Ryanair, has become the latest SeatGeek Open distribution partner in the UK and Ireland.
Through the partnership, SeatGeek’s clients, including the likes of Premier League football clubs and the West End, will now be able to sell their tickets across online travel sites, including Irish discount airline Ryanair.
Clients will be able to list primary inventory via the Coras platform on a growing number of distribution partners, especially in the travel space, with all digital sales of primary ticket inventory to be managed by SeatGeek’s SRO technology and its open distribution network.
SeatGeek Open launched in the UK in September, allowing its clients to sell tickets in a wide variety of websites and apps with no need for additional software or integrations.
“We’re excited to partner with SeatGeek so that its clients can sell tickets through a network of the world’s biggest online brands,” said Mark McLaughlin, chief executive of Coras.
“Consumers want to be able to purchase the tickets they want through the sites they already use, and now our travel partners can now offer customers tickets for Premier League Football that match their travel destination and dates.”
Coras, founded in 2016, enables online brands to sell tickets for events and activities through a single API integration, with real time access to ticketing inventory in 40 countries, 10 languages and 8 currencies.
Lee Moulton, SeatGeek’s director of partnerships, said: “It’s amazing to work with a company like Coras, who sees the value of an open ticketing ecosystem that benefits customers and clients alike. Thanks to our integration with Coras the selection of SeatGeek Open distribution partners continues to grow, giving our clients the opportunity to reach new customers.”
