SocialSweet has today (Monday) launched a new fan rewards app Sweet, with fans earning loyalty points with specific artists through buying tickets and other methods to win prizes.

Fans can earn loyalty tokens called Sugar through 130 different actions, including streaming music, watching videos, sharing social posts, visiting stores and attending concerts or events.

The Sugar points can be redeemed as backstage passes, private lessons, video chats and more.

SocialSweet has launched with almost 200 talent brands across music, gaming and content creation, including LeAnn Rimes, Rob Thomas and Fearless records.

The new Sweet app aims to gamify the fan experience, with prizes to be redeemed in the app’s global rewards marketplace on more than 2,000 experiences and products from top talent and brands including Apple, Google, Bose, Nike and Amazon.

In addition, a celebrity, artist or talent brand will lead ‘Sugar Rush’ live games and streaming parties within the app every week, allowing fans first opportunities to experience new music and content through intimate digital experiences. These will include charity components in support of the hosting talent’s favourite cause.

The app also includes a ‘Sweet Spots’ feature, in which fans hunt for and collect Sugar at concerts, festivals and retail stores. The app’s ‘Discover’ section includes a series of daily action cards that allows fans to learn about new artists, music, content and brands on Sweet. Users can stream music from Spotify and Apple Music while they explore the platform.
