StubHub sold out of KFC’s promotional “seasoned tickets” chicken wing delivery deal within hours of it launching in the US yesterday (Thursday).
The passes cost $75 each to get 48 Kentucky Fried Wings delivered every week for 10 weeks to tie in with the NFL American football season.
StubHub said the move is designed to enhance the “game-day experience,” for people watching the games at home, rather than at a stadium.
The ticketing firm dished out 500 tickets, which included a Double Wing Bonus ticket for an additional 48 wings on week 10.
Olivier Ropars, chief marketing officer at StubHub, said: “We’re always looking for ways to give fans an enhanced and unique game-day experience. That’s why we are excited to partner with KFC for the launch of KFC Seasoned Tickets, a really fun offer at a great value that only StubHub and KFC can exclusively curate like this.”
