Hull City has halved ticket prices for its upcoming home game against Derby County, in a bid to boost its all-time low attendances.
The Championship club has announced a ‘half price for half-term’ offer that sees every ticket in the KCOM Stadium (pictured) reduced by 50 per cent.
Over the course of the club’s opening six games of the new season, the average gate has been just 10,665, a figure that places them 23rd in all of the Championship
According to the club’s recently published accounts, Hull City’s average attendance fell to just 9,477 last season.
The Derby County match at the 25,586-capacity football ground, which is scheduled for October 26, will cost adults as little as £13.50, while junior ticket prices start at £4.50.
The cheap tickets must be purchased in advance online before October 25, in person at the stadium, as well as at self-service kiosks or by calling the club.
Hull City’s members will also receive 500 points to their accounts from October 28 if they tap-in to the stadium between 1.30pm and 2.30pm on the day of the game, with exclusive food and drink offers available on the concourse.
Derby County fans will also benefit from the reduced prices and are expected to bring a large following.
