Appointments round-up: Front Gate, TickPick and more

This week saw Ticketmaster-owned Front Gate Tickets hire Ben Taylor as general manager for all client services, field operations, customer service, fulfilment, IT, accounting, business development and more.

Taylor has been with Front Gate since 2007 and has led the creation of a music festivals department, a fully integrated RFID system, fan engagement solutions for festival partners and sponsors, utilising ticketing and technology for patron and staff safety, credential management and integration, and the development and implementation of cashless point of sale operations.

Earlier this week, TickPick appointed Michele Rusnak (pictured) as its first chief financial officer to oversee its business and administrative operations. Rusnak joins TickPick after spending 15 years at New York Public Radio (NYPR).

Rusnak said: “I knew it was a company I wanted to be a part of as it enters this high-growth phase. TickPick’s no-fees model has changed the ticketing industry. I’m eager to utilise my background and experience to help TickPick capture an even greater share of the market.”

The New York Giants NFL American football team has hired Russell Scibetti as the franchise’s vice-president of strategy and business intelligence.

Scibetti joins the Giants from business management software provider KORE Software, where he had served as chief marketing officer. Scibetti spent five and a half years at KORE Software, previously working as president of KORE Planning & Insights and vice-president of product strategy.

At the Giants, Scibetti will launch and manage a new business intelligence department, with more details to be announced in due course.
