Eagles unveil inaugural fan cruise

The Philadelphia Eagles NFL American football franchise has announced plans to organise an inaugural fan cruise, which will include a seven-day trip featuring players and alumni.

The Caribbean excursion, which is scheduled to set sail on March 21, 2021, will include Eagles-themed events, activities, parties, meet-and-greets, photo opportunities and more.

The experience will feature up to 20 current players and Eagles legends like David Akers, Harold Carmichael, Vince Papale, Mike Quick, Ike Reese, Merrill Reese and Jeremiah Trotter.

“This is the ultimate experience for any Eagles fan,” said Catherine Carlson, the Eagles’ senior vice-president of revenue and strategy. “We are always searching for new and innovative ways to bring our fans closer to the team, so we are excited to announce that this new partnership with First Class Cruises enables us to do that.”

The cruise on the Anthem of the Seas vessel has been launched in partnership with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. It will depart from Cape Liberty, New Jersey, and will stop at several Caribbean islands, including Port Canaveral, CocoCay and Nassau.
