Tickets released for £37m Yorkshire theme park

Tickets for Yorkshire’s new £37m Gulliver’s Valley theme park in the UK have been released ahead of its scheduled opening this spring.

A limited number of passes have been put on sale, with 100 tickets for each open date between June and October being released for purchase before midnight on January 5.

The tickets are priced at £12 each, and more than 2,000 were snapped up on Christmas Eve after the first batch were released.

Gulliver’s Valley Theme Park, which is situated on a 250-acre plot of land in South Yorkshire, is suitable for families with children aged between two and 12 years old and consists of several rides and attractions, including interactive areas such as a Lost Jurassic World and a Wild Western World.

Julie Dalton, managing director at Gulliver’s, told the Yorkshire Post newspaper: “Gulliver’s are committed to providing great value days out for families with young children and we are really looking forward to opening the gates to our fourth theme park this spring.

“The Rotherham and South Yorkshire community have been hugely supportive throughout the development, Gulliver’s Valley has been built for local families to enjoy, whilst also improving the regional economy and putting Rotherham on the map.”
