TEG Dainty and TEG Live have organised a concert next month at Sydney’s ANZ Stadium to raise money for those impacted by the ongoing bushfires across Australia.
The ‘Fire Fight Australia’ concert was announced today (Monday) and will include performances from international and local artists.
The event will take place on Sunday, February 16 and is expected to run from 3pm to 10pm. A full line-up of artists and partners, along with other details, will be released in the coming weeks.
It is hoped the concert will raise money for relief from the bushfires that are currently taking place across the country, with New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia and Western Australia all affected. A number of people have died from the fires, which have engulfed some 8.4 million hectares of Australia.
TEG said in a statement: “This is a major musical event which will see globally-renowned artists from Australia and around the world come together to perform and show solidarity with people whose lives have been disrupted by the bushfires.”
