Ticketing agent unveiled for 2020 Indoor Championships

Chinese company Wenkor Ticketing has been named as the ticketing agent for the 2020 World Athletics Indoor Championships in Nanjing, China.

The firm will begin sales on January 16, during which 18,000 tickets will be up for grabs over the three days of competition from March 13 to 15.

Tickets will cost between 50 and 600 yuan ($7 to $86), and will be available to domestic and international buyers on online platforms including Damai, Maoyan and 228.com.cn.

Tickets for the event, held at the newly built 20,000-capacity Cube gymnasium at the Nanjing Youth Olympic Sports Park, will allocate zones, rather than specific seats, within which ticket-holders can sit anywhere.

Wenkor Ticketing is an affiliate of Chinese investment company Nanjing Cultural Investment Holding Group.

The ticketing plan was announced during a press conference that also unveiled the event’s mascot, which is a snow squirrel called Cedar.
