Major demand for TEG’s bushfire relief concert

More than 65,000 tickets have been sold in five hours for TEG Dainty and TEG Live’s Fire Fight Australia relief concert, which is set to star British rock legends Queen, among others.

The event, scheduled to take place on February 16 at Sydney’s ANZ Stadium, has been organised to raise money for those impacted by the ongoing bushfires across Australia.

Fire Fight Australia has announced its line-up of acts, which includes Queen + Adam Lambert, who will take a short break from their Australian ‘The Rhapsody Tour’ to perform, as well as Alice Cooper, Olivia Newton-John and more.

The nine-hour concert will get underway at 1pm at the 83,500-capacity venue, with ticket sales launched this morning (Monday).

Tickets can be purchased from Ticketek Australia, with prices set at Aus$70 (£37/€43/$48), Aus$85 and Aus$100, with the option to make further contributions to bushfire relief during the purchase.

All concert ticket profits and all contributions through Ticketek will go towards key organisations, including the rural and regional fire services in affected states, the Red Cross Disaster Relief and Recovery and the RSPCA Bushfire Appeal.
