Vivaticket will integrate its Vision solution at Paris’s most famous tourist attraction, the Eiffel Tower, to improve its distribution capabilities.
Under the agreement, the firm will deploy its Vision ticketing solution, software developed in partnership with Puy-du-Fou, to support its audience management changes.
The attraction said it needed a solution that would transform its ticket distribution, while maintaining the essential sales functions of its cash desks and access control.
The Eiffel Tower welcomes more than six million visitors per year with daily peaks that can exceed 30,000 visits.
Vivaticket’s solution will be able to respond to the challenges of optimising and automating the internal processes of the Eiffel Tower, as well as ensuring the system is capable of dynamically managing ticket stocks between a large number of resellers.
The programme will also include connectable APIs to ensure flexibility in sales to the general public, as well as allowing for the management of mass cancellations and refunds.
The firm also said it is looking ahead at integrating Chinese payment platforms WeChat and Alipay this year.
Vivaticket became the ticketing partner of the Eiffel Tower in 2018.
