Super Bowl resale price reach all-time high

Ticket prices for Super Bowl LIV, which takes place in just under two weeks, could reach an all time high, with the average resale price at $6,232 on SeatGeek.

The NFL Championship game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers will take place at the 64,767-capacity Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida, on Sunday, February 2.

The cheapest tickets on SeatGeek are currently $5,727, while the most expensive has skyrocketed to $70,153.

The average resale ticket price is nearly $1,000 more than Super Bowl LII in 2018, which was the second most expensive game. On that occasion the New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles saw an average resale price of $5,373.

Tickets for last year’s Super Bowl LIII between the Los Angeles Rams and New England Patriots were third most expensive on average at $4,657.

SeatGeek also said that the daily number of tickets sold on its platform is 1,220.
