Ticket Alternative appoints new management team to support growth

Atlanta-based ticketing firm Ticket Alternative has brought in additional investors and appointed a new management team to support its long-term growth strategy.

The company, which will be led by founder and chief executive Jamie Dwyer, has named David Davies as its new executive chairman.

Bob Brush, who has 30 years of experience in the trade show, events, professional services and real estate industries, has been named as chief financial officer. The new chief marketing officer will be Keith A. Neely, while Susan Stewart has been appointed vice-president of sales and client experience.

As part of the changes to the executive management team, co-founder and former president Iain Bluett has stepped down as an officer of the company to pursue outside interests.

The company, which was founded in 2003, provides ticketing services to thousands of events and venues annually across the US via its wholly owned platform, Freshtix. It serves large and small events across music, sport and theatre, as well as festivals and parties, with its clients typically retaining 100 per cent of the ticket price.

Ticket Alternative is also one of the largest sellers of event wristbands and custom printed tickets.
