StubHub has been named as the official marketplace for the inaugural edition of North American rock festival Virgin Fest.
The event, which is taking place June 6-7 at the Banc of California Stadium and Exposition Park in Los Angeles, is a new music and technology festival set to take place across multiple stages.
Headliners include Lizzo (pictured), A$AP Rocky, Anderson Paak and the Free Nationals and Jorja Smith, among many others.
Jeff Poirier, general manager of music for StubHub, said: “This new partnership with Virgin Fest is another example of StubHub’s continued focus on bringing exclusive access to live experiences to fans throughout the world.
“In Virgin’s Fest first year, our innovative partners are demonstrating that offering fans choice is a key component to a high-end live experience and we are thrilled to be able to partner with them to establish and grow this festival.”
In addition to exclusive inventory and a sponsorship activation on the festival grounds, the partnership includes marketing assets by both partners and a StubHub ticket-fulfilment space on the festival grounds for purchases made on StubHub.
Jason Felts, chief executive and founder of Virgin Fest, added: “StubHub has an impeccable brand that is well-loved by music fans, featuring award-winning customer service and a unique data offering, both of which will allow us flexibility, innovation and security working with them in this first year of Virgin Fest.
“We are confident that StubHub will make the buying and selling experience seamless for fans, while also being thought partners in pricing, marketing and audience development that support the Virgin Fest vision and growth.”
