People on the move: CTS Eventim, Burnley and more

Ticketing and live entertainment services provider CTS Eventim has announced that chief financial officer Volker Bischoff will leave the company by mutual consent when his contract expires on March 31.

Bischoff has spent more than 20 years on CTS Eventim’s management board and has overseen the company’s finances for his entire membership.

Andreas Grandinger (pictured below) will succeed Bischoff as CTS Eventim’s chief financial officer on April 14. Grandinger joins CTS Eventim from ecommerce company Zooplus, where he served as chief financial officer from 2013 to 2019. He previously held leading finance positions at Douglas Holding.

Neil Hart has begun his role as chief executive at Premier League football club Burnley.

Hart replaces David Baldwin, who is leaving Burnley to become chief executive of the English Football League (EFL) after six years at the club. Hart has moved across early from his position as chief executive of Burnley FC in the Community.

Hart said: “Since Christmas, Dave and I have been undertaking the handover process, which has been seamless. It’s certainly one of the most comprehensive hand-over processes I’ve been involved in and we have gone through great detail to ensure I am fully briefed on everything from the football side, to finances, to supporter engagement, to commercial opportunities, staff and facilities.”

Web technology company Web.com Group has named Rob Solomon (pictured below), formerly of Ticketmaster, as its new chief customer officer.

Solomon will report directly to Web.com Group president and chief executive Sharon Rowlands. He will be responsible for global customer operations and will focus on driving new growth and service opportunities across the company’s portfolio of brands.

As well as Ticketmaster, Solomon has previously held senior leadership positions with Hertz, HSN, Electronic Processing Source and Continental Guest Services. At Ticketmaster, he oversaw the integration of call centre operations for the company’s businesses.
