Scottish Rugby appoints Sportsbreaks for match break ticket packages

Scottish Rugby has teamed up with Clarity Sports and its supporter travel and ticket package provider, Sportsbreaks.com.

The partnerships will see Clarity Sports provide team and business travel, while Sportbreaks.com will handle supporter away travel and match break packages, which include tickets and accommodation for all BT Murrayfield matches up to the end of the 2023 Six Nations.

As part of the partnership, Sportsbreaks.com will provide packages for upcoming Scotland fixtures, once more is known regarding mass events.

Rob Slawson, director of Sports Travel at Clarity, said: “At Sportsbreaks.com we provide supporters with unforgettable sporting experiences, and there are few places more memorable than BT Murrayfield on matchday.

“Through our match break packages, we aim to take the stress out of supporter travel, while ensuring that fans can enjoy the sights of the city as well as the match. We know fans have been itching to get back watching live sport and or match break packages give fans the best possible matchday experience.”

Dominic McKay, Scottish Rugby’s chief operating officer, added: “For fans Sportsbreaks.com will enable Scotland supporters to not only enjoy what BT Murrayfield has to offer and its fantastic matchday experiences, but also provides packages which will enable fans to travel with the team to away fixtures when safe to do so.

An eight-team tournament in which the Six Nations sides will be joined by Japan and Fiji is scheduled to begin on  November 14 after the final round of the 2020 Six Nations is completed.

After being postponed in March due to COVID-19, Wales’ game with Scotland, Ireland’s game against France, and England’s match in Italy have been scheduled for October 31, while Ireland versus Italy will be played the week before.
