Zicket to provide ticketing for HK’s first COVID-safe venue

Asian event technology solutions provider Zicket has teamed up with Hong Kong’s first purpose-built COVID-safe venue.

Under the agreement, Zicket will provide ticketing and access control features for The Grounds at AIA Vitality Park, and has worked alongside the event organisers to align local technology partners to review total operational processes including pre-registration, heath declarations, contactless ordering and payments.

Zicket, which has supported events in Hong Kong, Singapore, Macao and Shenzhen, said in a statement: “We have worked with their team every step of the way to help devise a COVID19-Responsible strategy and utilise technology where-possible to enhance the visitor experience whilst following the HK Governments latest anti-epidemic measures.”

The Grounds at AIA Vitality Park is Hong Kong’s new socially distant entertainment experience, presenting a selection of entertainment options such as, live music, family activities, wellness classes, films and more from the safety of a private pod.

Each picket-fenced area holds up to four people and there will be a 1.5m distance between each pod.

Attendees can order food via a contactless system, which staff will deliver to reduce interaction with crowds.

In addition, temperature checks will be taken upon entry and face masks will be mandatory when outside the pod. Guests also need to fill out a health declaration form when buying tickets.

Zicket has recently launched a COVID 19-Toolkit, which is a collection of system tools, features and operational processes. The toolkit is broken down into three main sections, which are ticketing, access control and RFID and cashless payments.
