Motorsport Tickets engages Rooster to build awareness

Motorsport Tickets, the dedicated motorsport ticket provider, has chosen UK PR agency Rooster to drive its first ever, dedicated consumer awareness programme.

The appointment comes as the brand, which is part of Motorsport Network, gears up for a period of rapid expansion, including introduction of travel packages and more race series. Motorsport Tickets is Motorsport Network’s ticketing and experiences brand, created from the integration of leading ticket providersBookF1 (UK) and SportStadion (Holland) in January 2020.

The company is an authorised ticket seller for the likes of Formula 1, MotoGP, World Endurance Championship, the 24 Hours of Le Mans and Isle of Man TT.

Richard Gibson-Venner, marketing director at Motorsport Tickets, said: “It’s great to have Rooster onboard as we embark on this next growth phase, complementing the ongoing investment we’re putting in as we strive to build a best in class marketing team that can really drive the business forward.

“Their experience within the travel sector is really well aligned with our wider aspirations and will be a valuable asset and sounding board to the whole team.”

Rooster has been tasked with raising awareness of Motorsport Tickets as the one-stop destination for a range of event tickets, travel packages and exclusive experiences for motorsport fans.

Rooster will be responsible for generating coverage in national, regional, local and specialist consumer media, as well as communicating the strong growth and strength of Motorsport Tickets, the lead business within Motorsport Network’s Event vertical.

James Brooke, managing director of Rooster PR, said: “We’re very much looking forward to utilising our industry contacts and implementing a creative approach to raise awareness of Motorsport Tickets in the UK, especially when sporting events and global travel resumes.”

Motorsport Tickets serves a global customer audience across Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, Asia and Australasia. In October, the company acquired Travel Destinations, a leading UK tour operator for sports car and historical motorsport events.
