Durham Cricket has teamed up with premium ticketing marketplace Seat Unique.
The four-year partnership will power the county cricket club’s hospitality and premium ticket sales at its home ground, Emirates Riverside.
Seat Unique software has digitally transformed the process of buying VIP matchday experiences for Durham Cricket fans, by bringing hospitality bookings online.
Robin Sherry, chief executive and founder of Seat Unique, said: “We are delighted to have partnered with such a prestigious club as Durham Cricket. The stadium hosts some of the most anticipated domestic and international fixtures, as well as concerts.
“We look forward to our technology being used by cricket and music fans to access Durham’s premium offerings, and welcoming them to the new Seat Unique Terrace.”
Through the deal, the club has expanded its VIP offering by creating a new premium ticketing category and stand called the Seat Unique Terrace.
The new category sits between standard tickets and hospitality, helping fans access premium seats without the added cost of luxury extras.
Tom Seymour, head of commercial at Durham Cricket, said: “We are thrilled to be working with Seat Unique, who are true experts in digitalising every aspect of the hospitality and premium ticketing process. Their inventive software has provided a quick, easy and effortless solution for fans who want to buy VIP experiences wherever and whenever they want.”
Emirates Riverside’s summer calendar includes a one-day international (ODI) between England and Sri Lanka on June 29 and An Evening with Michael Bublé.
Premium tickets for the England v Sri Lanka ODI are available to buy from £85 per person at Seat Unique.
