Spurs’ deal extension with TM Sport targets ticketing innovation

Tottenham Hotspur has extended a long-term partnership with Ticketmaster Sport in a deal designed to drive technological ticketing advancements for the wider sport industry.

Under the agreement, Ticketmaster Sport becomes the Premier League football club’s official ticketing innovation supplier.

With the evolving needs of capacity, social distancing and other logistics in mind, the club will use a suite of tools, designed by Ticketmaster Sport, to help welcome fans back safely to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium during this unprecedented time.

Ian Murphy, head of ticketing at Tottenham Hotspur, said: “Over a number of years, Ticketmaster Sport has assisted us in successfully delivering on a number of core projects, including the ticketing operations required throughout our transition from White Hart Lane to our new stadium, via Wembley.

“This new agreement will see us look to take the traditional ticketing model to a new level as we strive to deliver the best experience for our supporters and utilise cutting-edge technology for all visitors to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.”

The deal expands on an existing partnership between the two which rolled out a fully-digital ticketing journey for fans visiting Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The recent return of fans for two matches in December 2020, saw 4,000 supporters enjoy the matchday experience using only their mobile devices. The new system has also been designed to help protect supporters’ by reducing physical contact and verifying who is inside the stadium on matchdays.
